We may also store basic website submission metadata such as signup source, browser, device type, country, and interest tags to manage playtest access and updates. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect limited website usage data such as page views, button clicks, trailer interactions, and waitlist flow events through Google Analytics 4. In addition, when you play Treasure Cove, we may collect gameplay analytics and technical diagnostics as described below.

2. Gameplay Analytics

We may collect gameplay analytics to understand how players progress through the game and to improve balance, pacing, usability, and overall game quality. This may include information such as level starts and completions, checkpoints reached, story or progression milestones, session duration, gameplay failures or repeated attempts, feature and mechanic usage, co-op session events, and other in-game interaction data in aggregated or event-based form.

We may also collect technical diagnostics related to gameplay, such as crash reports, error logs, build version, platform, device type, operating system, language, region, and performance-related information where needed to maintain and improve the game.

3. How We Use Information

We use submitted email addresses to contact you about playtest invitations, game updates, release news, and related announcements about Treasure Cove. We use website analytics to understand what works on the landing page and improve the site experience. We use gameplay analytics and diagnostics to improve level design, identify friction points, fix bugs and crashes, improve performance, and better understand how players experience the game.

4. Cookies

We use necessary storage to support website functionality, including the waitlist form and your cookie preference. If you accept analytics, we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, CTA clicks, trailer engagement, and waitlist performance. We do not use advertising cookies in this website codebase.
